THE DEAL
Rev. Billy's running for Mayor of New York City, but we need to support him
here in San Francisco!

Here's why: Many New Yorkers have lost a beloved part of their city, from the
long-time shopkeeper to the cop on his neighborhood beat. People lack an
affordable place to live or jobs that will provide for their families' futures.
New York City’s strength is its diversity, and its future relies on hard
working New Yorkers being rewarded for their contributions and community
investment, not forced out by development and “prosperity” they
can’t afford.

As Mayor of New York, Reverend Billy Talen will continue the work he has done
for more than a decade as a champion of local ingenuity and neighborhood
know-how. United as he already is with the city’s many communities, his
administration will be the connecting force reaching out to all New Yorkers, to
create a city that is sustainable, just and free; defending public space,
self-determination, and the right for every New Yorker to earn an honest,
independent living.
