Hero Hoops Teacher Training Level 1:  How to Teach Hooping for Beginners and Start Your Hooping Business

The Level 1 training is for those who are seeking to start a hooping business, those who want to learn how to better teach their friends and share hooping with others, and those who are simply seeking to deepen their personal practice. Do it: for yourself; for your community; for connection.

Learn to teach the Hero Hoops beginner class content in this teacher training, as it provides you the education you need to become a
successful hoopdance teacher. Learn how to teach a diverse curriculum of beginner and advanced beginner moves safely, and gain experience with essential
teaching equipment and teaching practices.

This teacher training is open to those who possess the hooping skills taught in the Hero Hoops Beginner content (must be able to do a lift up, basic jump through, and have good hand control - if you have questions on if you are prepared enough, please send us an email).

Day One: Teaching Basics

Day One offers a full day of lecture and discussion covering
comprehensive teaching basics in how to convey hoopdance technique
safely and effectively in a motivating and safe environment.

Day Two: Teaching Skills and Practice

Day Two includes technical workshops for you to learn further hooping
skills and polish your technique, practical hands-on experience
teaching moves and planning classes, with further education on hoop
moves and class safety.

Day Three: Practical Application

On Day Three, you'll experience a real class setting with real
students where you will have the opportunity to practice your new
teaching skills. Day Three also includes a required written knowledge
demonstration to show that you have absorbed and retained the
information from the training.

The teacher training is held Friday morning through Sunday evening
with a lunch break each day. Organic snacks are provided every
day. Come early on Thursday for the welcoming dinner outing, and plan
on staying Sunday night for the celebration dinner event after the
program completion!

Walk away with the tools and skills to create and teach professional
classes, or simply the knowledge to teach hooping to your friends.
