Hoop Camp starts tomorrow, yay!
I am very busy, putting the finishing touches on some costume merchandise that I'll be selling this weekend at the gathering. I'm very excited about the pieces that I've made. Still to do this evening: pack, repair a costume hair piece that Moon (one of my dogs) excavated from my suitcase and shredded (she sure does love feathery flower pieces), water the garden, and get some rest!
I'm teaching one of my signature workshops on Sunday: Fancy Footwork - Basic Dance Technique for Hoopers. I first taught this workshop at Hoop Convergence in North Carolina back in May. I'm looking forward to sharing some new additions to the class material, as well as reviewing the original content.
The past month has been so crazy delightfully abundant and busy! First Burning Man, with its weeks/months of preparation; then Symbiosis; now Hoop Camp; and next is Spin Matsuri in Japan. Woohoo! Japan will be my second international trip related to hooping. Very exciting! I love that hooping creates an opportunity for me to travel the world sharing my skills, knowledge, and joy. Woohoo! I am VERY VERY grateful :o)
